Francis A. Mackan, BBA, CA

For owners of small and medium sized businesses, professionals, not for profits and other clients requiring expert assistance with personal and corporate income tax, business advisory services, accounting and auditing, Francis Mackan brings a wealth of experience.

Francis joined Horne LLP in 1998 as a Senior Manager and is proud to be part of the continuing Horne LLP tradition of excellence.

In his 20th year of Public Accounting, Francis has gained significant experience in advising owner managed businesses, and has a strong expertise in personal and corporate income tax planning for family owned businesses. His level of service commitment to his clients is achieved through the development of long lasting relationships and a deep understanding of his client’s businesses. Francis is a welcome addition to the partnership and is excited about serving his current and future clientele.

Francis holds an Honors Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Brock University (Co-op Accounting Option), and has been a licensed public accountant since 1992. He has volunteered on several Boards of Directors in the past. Francis is currently serving on the Board of Museums Burlington and he is an active member of the Burlington Chamber of Commerce where he currently is Chair of the Membership Committee. Francis and his wife Aimee and their family have made their home in Burlington, Ontario.
