Relay For Life
On June 6th, 2008, Horne LLP participated in the Burlington Cancer Society’s "Relay for Life" held at Bronte Creek Provincial Park in Burlington. Relay for Life is a celebration of survival and a tribute to the lives of loved ones who have been touched by cancer. The overnight relay, which began at 7:00 pm, had participants walking throughout the night until 7:00 am the next morning. The event was a huge success with approximately $ 400,000 in total donations being raised for cancer research. Of this amount, we are proud to say that the three teams from Horne raised more than $40,000. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our clients, friends and family who donated to this worthy cause and helped makes this year’s Relay a success.
